The Citrus Issue of Homestead Kitchen Magazine is Here!
This new issue of Homestead Kitchen Magazine celebrates the whole spectrum of citrus - how to preserve it, how to cook with it, how to enjoy it, and yes, even how to grow your own. You’ll find recipes that welcome any citrus you have on hand, encouragement to play with flavors, and a handful of projects that bring color back into the winter kitchen. My hope is that as you flip through these pages, you feel that same sweet lift a good orange gives: simple, bright, and cheering you on through the season.
You’ll also find an article from Doc Jones on stopping a bladder infection in its tracks, a cooking from the pantry piece by Becca Bowers on how to bring citrus to your winter plate, a fascinating article from Lauren Landers on growing dwarf citrus trees indoors, plus our regular chicken health tips from Heather Levin and cultivating wellness article from Dr. Torrie.
